SESSION GUIDELINES

 Treatment:

Your Therapist will thoroughly clean their hands prior to and after each session.

  • Your Therapist will wear the following protective gear: gloves, mask, and (optional) face guard for each appointment.

  • All product bottles used during the treatment will be placed in a separate container for disinfection and disposable items will be used when possible.

  • All surfaces will be wiped thoroughly with hospital-grade disinfectant before and after each client according to the manufacturer's directions and sterilized at the end of each day.

  • All guests must be 17 years of age or older.

  • All guests are required to wear a mask during the entire visit.

  • The guest determines which pieces of clothing to be removed.

  • The therapist discusses what is most helpful for the specific treatment; however, the guest makes the final decision.

  • The guest determines which areas not to treat (i.e., no foot strokes due to being ticklish).

  • The guest will remain covered at all times and only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

  • The guest needs to communicate the pain level to the therapist.

  • Treatment is provided in a specifically designated space that is used solely for massage and where guests’ privacy is assured.

  • No sexual behavior/intonation is tolerated.

 Confidentiality:

  • The therapist does not share information about the session with others.

  • If the guest would like the therapist to send a note to a physician, the guest must request in writing.

 Payment:

  • Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

  • All sales are final on all services including gift cards, certificates, and Premiere Card packages.

  • All promotional gift cards/certificates and Premiere Card packages expire 1-year from purchase.

 Agreement:

We agree to adhere to the specified boundaries. If for some reason the guest cannot adhere to the boundaries, the therapist will discuss a course of action that may result in a right to refuse treatment of the guest.

Guests should understand that the massage or bodywork received is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension. If the guest experiences any pain or discomfort during their session, they will immediately inform the practitioner so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to their level of comfort.

Further, the guest should understand that massage or bodywork is not to be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and that he or she should see a physician, chiropractor, or another qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment of which they are aware.

All guests should understand that massage/ bodywork practitioners are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness and that nothing said in the course of the session given should be construed as such. Because massage/ bodywork should not be performed under certain medical conditions, the guest will affirm that they have stated all known medical conditions and answer all questions honestly.

Guests will agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in their medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner’s part should they fail to do so.

All illicit or sexually suggestive behavior during the session will not be tolerated, and the guest will be liable for payment of the scheduled appointment.
